Before teaching Kindergarten, I taught first grade for four years. I totally thought first grade was the love of my life, and while it will always hold a special place in my heart, I've realized Kindergarten is where I'm meant to be!
I'm married to an amazing man named Shane. He is my best friend and we had the best wedding this past summer. We recently purchased our first house and I love making it a home with him! He constantly makes me laugh and packs a sack lunch for me to take to school every day. True love :)I live in the heart of Kansas and am everything you'd likely think of about a girl from the midwest. I'm a church-goin, football game cheerin', happy-to-say-hello type of gal. I'm a proud alumni of the University of Kansas (go Jayhawks)! I can easily be persuaded to have another cup of coffee (and, who am I kidding, another glass of wine), and love all things pink. Oh and shoes. I love shoes. :)
