Person:
My Man is such a serious blessing to me. He is absolutely my best friend, my greatest encourager, and can always make me laugh. He listens to me and supports me through everything - not to mention he comes from a teacher family, so he "gets it" when I have my school conversations! Ah, I just love him!
Place:
Lawrence, Kansas, home of the Kansas Jayhawks. If you have read anything on my blog, you've probably noticed I'm a huge Jayhawk fan (especially basketball!). I earned both of my degrees from KU. I spent countless hours camping out for great basketball seats. I met my best friends through classes, my sorority, and campus ministry groups at KU. I proudly walked down the hill at graduation and knew I was a Jayhawk for life. I try to visit Lawrence whenever I can, and I still get goosebumps when I drive down the big hill to campus. So many wonderful memories!

Thing: Coffee. I love coffee and all things that go with coffee! Whether that means a fresh new day, an afternoon break to catch up with an old friend, or just the warming smell in general, coffee always makes me happy. :)

Goodness, I definitely needed my coffee on our first day back today! I think if a coffee shop (perhaps one that rhymes with Carducks) would offer delivery to teachers they would exceed all projected profits. :)
DeleteHi :) I am your newest follower. I found your blog through the linky party. Your blog is so cute, and I couldn't agree more with the coffee. In my hometown there is company that makes coffee, and man oh man! I wish I could send it to everyone. It is THAT good.
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and I'm following! I live about 70 miles south of Lawrence and LOVE going to Lawrence to shop!! :o)

Ah I'm so glad you agree! Isn't Mass Street the best? I always find the most unique things there. Thanks for stopping by! It's so fun to connect with fellow Kansas teachers! :)
DeleteHi there! I found you through Amanda's Spring Fever giveaway and I'm so excited I did! I'm a Kansas girl too AND a Jayhawk fan even though I graduated from that "other" school! Haha! :) Super cute blog by the way!
